Purple shoes green dress help?

I have a turquoise short strapless dress for a meal out I'm going to, it comes just above the knee, and is big and scrunched up at the bottom and fitted on top. I was going to wear it with silver shoes and silver accessories but when the shoes arrived, they didn't fit. I don't have time to get new shoes now, and I want to wear the accessories because they cost me a lot. but, would it go if I wore them with purple heels. the heels have a x shaped thick strap over the toe, and go round the ankles like ballerina shoes, they also have some fancy stuff on the back. do you think that would go??
